FULTON & ROARK: MEN’S GROOMING
The creation and appreciation of cultural goods has long been a part of Metaleap’s DNA. So when an opportunity came along to design a new line of men’s grooming products, we were intrigued. But what convinced us to take on the project was meeting the guys behind Fulton & Roark.
Many specialty projects start with a couple of people who have a dream, but rarely do we meet a team that is positioned to act on it. F&R’s founders met in business school and, like many people, had an idea—but they also moved quickly to an actionable business plan.
We clicked with them when we realized we shared a unique balance between creativity and strategy. Like many specialty projects, F&R needed to make a big splash with few assets to help carry the brand. We began by creating their logo, then followed up with a website, some supporting print collateral pieces and the packaging for their first product: a men’s solid cologne in three fragrances.
