Three Taverns Brewery in Decatur, Georgia is known for its dark, Belgian-inspired beers, experimental brews, hoppy IPAs, and all-around excellent tap room selections. While their so-called “New Monastic” selections require a more “serious” approach to packaging, their unorthodox beers always carry a little more room for color and creativity, both in the beer and its can. For the six-can Sour Asylum Series, those things were the name of the game, introducing a collection of chill, enchanting, and fancy faces into the Three Taverns family whose refreshing flavors run the gamut from raspberry to guava to Earl Grey. Along the way, we earned the #2 spot on USA Today’s Best Beer Label for Lord Grey!
