Every once in a while, we enjoy taking on the challenging and lively world of children’s literature. When we art directed and designed R.C. Sproul’s The Donkey Who Carried a King, we ensured that its whimsical beauty was properly represented in the interior and cover design, enticing children and parents alike to read the donkey’s story. Metaleap also created marketing assets and an ad campaign for the book, written by the founder of Ligonier Ministries.
Creative projects such as this demand that we think strategically through a multi-media lens, holding together publication design, successful packaging design, print and digital, and—in the case of Ligonier—the enduring brand of a faith-based nonprofit. When creative leaders do that well, a product such as this becomes a delightful expression of the parent brand. We love the opportunity to launch new publication products like this book, and for other clients like Stony Brook School.
